Brightway Launches Family of 90-305Vac Input 96W Quad-channel LED Drivers

Hong Kong, China – Feb 13th, 2014 - Brightway has announced the release of a broad array of 96W constant current quad-channel drivers for LED lighting applications. The LUC-072QxxxDDM (SDM/DSM/SSM) series includes 12 different models with output currents ranging from 450 to 700mA. Regardless of the output current, each model offers a full load efficiency of 87-89%.  These products all operate over a 90-305Vac input range and provide excellent power factor correction (0.95 at 220V). The LUC-072QxxxDSM(SSM) is approved to UL, CUL, Class 2, CE and FCC, and the LUC-072QxxxDDM(SDM) is approved to CE, ENEC, CB, CQC and ClassⅡ independent driver standards.

The high efficiency of these drivers enables the products to run cooler, significantly improving reliability and extending product life. The lifetime of these drivers is calculated at about 84,600 hours when operating at 80% load with a case temperature of 60°C.

The combination of wide dimming range (min. 5%) and low ripple (max. 10%) makes the BW-096Q series an ideal choice for indoor commercial lighting projects where the justification is based on visual comfort. As independent drivers, our new products are very flexible and easy-stored for varies projects. Meanwhile, the BW-096QxxxDDM(SDM) includes the features of class II and independence. In order to insure trouble-free operation in these applications this product family also features over-voltage, over-temperature, and short-circuit protection.
